Game Cancellation Policy

Only the Home team Town Coordinator, Alex Pollina, has the authority to cancel a Smithtown Home game due to field conditions. It will be posted a minimum of two hours before the game or thereafter, we have no authority and the game will go on. This message will be posted on the SCGL website  

You should make it a practice to check the http://www.scgirlslax.com/scgllax/htdocs/index.html website two hours before the game to see if locations have changed or there is a message from a town whith whom you have a game with.

Once you enter the site you will see an option for Message Board. Click on here and follow instructions below.

Hello all, I just wanted to reach out to all of you and make sure that you will be entering a team in the 4th Annual Good Friday Lax Tournament to be held at Great Hollow Middle School in Nesconset on Friday April 22nd. The contest will begin at 9:00 A.M. The teams will play four or five 25 minute "Round Robin" style games. There are three fields set up at Great Hollow Middle School. We will be playing 12v12 with modified checking rules

• Football Field #1 (Goal Posts)
• Field # 2 Back Field lined solely for Girls Lax
• Field # 3 Micro Field (smaller field)

Anyway please bring your coach over to the registration table at 8:30 A.M to sign in and await instruction.

** This is a Town Team Tournament no select or All Star teams allowed. **

Please have your teams all wearing there town uniform All games start and end with Horn There will only be about 5 minutes in between games so be ready to play and be prepared to move from field to field.

The tournament has been successful in the past and we hope to keep that tradition please have the players clean up after themselves there will be plenty of receptacles on the site. Also there will be portable bathrooms for use. There will also be medical personnel at the fields to be of assistance if needed.

The thought behind this tournament was that the kids are off that Friday from School and what better way to spend a morning.No scores are kept and the referees are volunteers (no riding the refs if you do you and your team will be asked to leave) Any questions give me a call at 631-235-2671 or shoot me an email at Bsmith4264@optonline.net

Just let me know if you are still interested as of now we have seven (7) teams entered and I would like to keep it that way.
